Discover the best calendar apps for coaches and small business owners to save time, stay organised, and book clients effortlessly.

When it comes to calendar and scheduling tools and software there seems to be a new one every minute.

As a small business owner, we rely on having the right tools for the job to build efficiency and save us money and time.

There is no perfect system, just a perfect system for you… it all depends on what you need from it.

So which tool is right for you?

Your goals

First things first when bringing any new tool into your business, you need to think about what it is you are trying to achieve, and what success looks like.

So what is your goal for using the calendar tool?

Time Management: Get help staying productive. When juggling clients, training, networking and marketing you need to streamline your daily schedule. The right app can help you block out time for all your tasks.

Client Appointments: Clients need to be able to book and reschedule their appointments. One positive is also setting up useful reminders.

Team Collaboration: Even as a small business owner you may have team members. Allowing them to book a moment of your time, and calendar access can make this easier to schedule.

The way you work

Integration: How many tools do you use already that would benefit from integrating with a calendar tool? For example, you might use Zoom. Giving your clients a way to book their next call, securing a place in your calendar and giving them access to the Zoom link all in a couple of clicks.

Easy to use: There is nothing worse than an overcomplicated tool that makes life harder. Trial and error, or even having an expert on hand to guide you can help you set-up or train you with your new tools.

The budget

Free or Paid Options: As a small business owner you need to keep a handle on your budget, as well as the amount of tools you could hoard. There are some great free options available. When considering a paid option, consider time saving and automation that could make your life easier, and cost you less in the long run.

Extra costs: One thing to consider is to check any hidden costs. This could be limiting bookings per month, or having to pay extra for customer support.

Natali (and one of her team) have helped me with the development of my business over recent months. She’s put forward so many ideas for growing my brand, which I never would have thought about, and has helped me to think about the bigger picture. With their help I’ve started using a new CRM system, which I couldn’t have implemented alone and I’m extremely grateful for the support given. Always very quick to respond too, which is a bonus!
