Why Outsource?

Natalie and Vicky were in the great position of having a lot of work on, and knew that they needed additional support to enable business growth. 

The decision to outsource was two-fold. First of all, their time was being taken up doing things that weren’t within their zone of genius (i.e.the client work). Secondly, they knew they needed expert help from those that have the strategic understanding as well as experience of undertaking these business tasks. 

Prior to outsourcing, Natalie and Vicky were struggling to stay on top of their digital marketing via social media, as well as work on their website. Now they have the team at LIME to develop their ongoing strategy, and implement the marketing activities that are needed to nurture their existing audience as well as attract new clients.  

Emphasis on Growth

Social media marketing was a bone of contention for VN Accountancy before working with LIME. The process the VN ladies had been struggling with was a DIY approach, one that Natalie admits to dreading week on week. With no clear strategy in place or key understanding of the fundamentals, they felt they were posting for the sake of it simply to maintain an online presence. 

Since working with LIME, they now have new business coming from their digital marketing, an established online presence, and the confidence to show up as themselves with their wonderful personalities.

Meeting LIME’s founder, Natali, was one of the main reasons Vicky and Natalie decided to outsource to LIME. As with any business, the necessity to trust that your business will be understood, cared for, and represented in the correct way was crucial. 

A large part of what appealed to the accountancy duo was knowing that the LIME team has multiple ‘flexperts’ who not only undertake tasks on behalf of several businesses, but that have experience and background in a variety of industries. 

Having a team member who understands the accounting world and who also has the expertise to develop social media marketing has been a game changer.  

Natalie admits that accountants are ‘control freaks’ by nature, and so letting go and delegating is already a big ask – but handing things to the team at LIME has been an easy and organic process – a pleasant surprise indeed.

Staying on top of industry trends and news is of huge value for the accountancy duo. Natalie recognises that LIME not only just ‘do’ what needs doing, but are instrumental in seeking out relevant and new information for their social media content. 

Historically, the majority of VN Accountancy’s clients have come via referrals and word of mouth, but more recently their social media presence has driven leads and new business to their door. 

The obvious positive impact overall has been more time to work with clients and drive business. But Natalie also says that releasing the mental load and stress has been a big plus for her.
