Why Outsource?

Rosie was already running an established business as a Clinical Psychologist but wanted to do more to help professionals in the industry. She created The Business of Psychology podcast not only to offer business advice but to help psychologists and therapists find their voice so that they too could share their wisdom and shape how mental health is perceived.  

Rosie had started her podcast and published around 10 episodes herself. She knew she wanted to continue but the sheer volume of work around editing, ads, intros, outros, shownotes, transcripts, and finally publishing meant that she was spending a significant amount of time doing work that wasn’t in her zone of genius. She already had enough plates spinning, and so sought help from LIME based on a recommendation from an individual in her network.

Emphasis on Growth

When Rosie initially came to LIME, her membership and coaching was very much a side-hustle project which she knew she wanted to grow. Unsure of how to move forward and monetise the project, Rosie wanted to focus on serving those she knew she could help, and needed to delegate the time-consuming tasks that were outside of her skill set – the obvious one being management of her podcast. 

3 years later, The Business of Psychology podcast is the lifeblood of her business. The vast majority of Rosie’s clients have found her through the podcast and all of them have tuned in to at least one or more episodes. This has meant Rosie has been able to grow her side-hustle into a thriving business – doing what she does best and inspiring industry professionals to find the confidence and community needed to stand up and change the way mental health is perceived for the better.

Having already reached out to people who provided podcast management, Rosie was left feeling somewhat unimpressed with the level of support on offer. She wanted to hand the entire process over, and concentrate solely on inviting inspiring guests on the show and recording the interviews.
